The Virat Ramayan Mandir is a monumental Hindu temple under construction in the East Champaran district of Bihar, India. Inspired by the grandeur of Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, this temple is being built by the Mahavir Mandir Patna Trust. Spread across 140 acres, the temple is a tribute to Lord Ram and the epic Ramayana, showcasing India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

22 Temples Within the Complex

Construction Progress

The construction of Virat Ramayan Mandir began in June 2015, but faced delays due to logistical challenges. The project is now on track and is expected to be completed by 2027. The temple is being built using modern machinery and techniques, ensuring precision and durability.
